Yep, just force cyclists out of the cycle lane for no reason.
Road calming from Du Cane Road (again). The bizarre thing is there are other road calming measures on the same road where allowances (see the opposite side of the road) are made for cyclists so it’s not as if it can’t be done.
How are you supposed to use the cycle lane with people parking like that????

Plans for cycle lanes in Dublin seem to have the right idea about keeping cycle tracks separate from motorists (and pedestrians) in the main and are even prepared to reduce parking to achieve it. Unfortunately London’s superhighways are not going to do the same (see the photos on their website)
